Lammas

The time when the first harvest of grain and corn and more is cut.

The plants sacrifice, or even die away, to allow other to flourish. To allow seed to release.

And isn’t it the same for us?

Parts of us must be shed or pass away in order for us to slip into a new version of self. In order to take on the next calling.

The answers are all around us, always.

In the season. In the natural rhythms.

We are forever intrinsically intertwined.

The first harvest is smaller. We still must wait for larger harvests to come.

The harvests will show us if the bounty will carry us through winter. Life depended upon it.

Fill yourself, full. It is the season for it. Allow your life and your light to become so full that it will carry you through the darker days that will circle around again.
